There are numerous equipment manufacturers out there but there are only three that stand out from the crowd, and we use all three. They are General Electric (GE), DSC, and Honeywell. Each manufacturer has slightly different offerings and strengths so to meet every client’s unique needs, we carry all three lines.

WE DO NOT USE “SELF-CONTAINED” EQUIPMENT! These are the systems where the keypads are oversized because they contain not only the keypad but the siren and the entire brain that runs the alarm. These systems, in our opinion, often pose a significant risk of being easily disabled by an intruder. If an intruder can get in and rip it of the wall cutting the wires to it before the programmed 30 or 60 second delay has passed, the distress signal to the monitoring station. Even worse, the keypads are also easily identified if visible from the outside because of their size as “self contained”, thereby raising a red flag and possible open invitation to any would-be intruder.

While no system can guarantee 100% protection, when the panel / brain is in a separate location from the siren and keypad, it usually provide significantly higher levels of protection. All of the systems we install are full separated. With this strong foundation, we offer several other options for greater protection:

  • • Cellular Communication- Greater protection- phone lines can be cut- cellular can’t.
  • • Smoke Detection monitored 24/7/365- Greater safety- weather you are home, asleep, or away, when smoke is detected the authorities are alerted and dispatched without you doing a thing.
  • • Carbon Monoxide Detection monitored 24/7/365- peace of mind- since it is odorless and colorless, when it is detected the authorities are dispatched without you doing a thing. This means no matter who is there, help will be on the way.
  • • Pet-Friendly Motion Detection so that you can still have the protection of motion detection if you have dogs or cats.
  • • Panic Buttons so that you can dispatch help with our without sounding the siren with the push of one button located in any place in the home you wish.
  • • Glass Break Detectors for added protection if the intruder breaks the glass instead of opening the window.
  • • Flood Detection so that if you home or basement takes on water and it is detected, you are alerted.
